Savinelli, the world's No.1 selling pipe Ferrari have given the Italians a reasonable edge in the world of motoring but that's not all they strive at. Since 1876 Savinelli have kept the Italians at the pinnacle of the pipe manufacturing game! Putting the Italian legacy behind us for a minute if you where to look at the Savinelli range you could be forgiven for thinking they are a classic high end British made pipe. We have received a number of comments over the years from our high end pipe customers who believe the quality of the briar and the finish of Savinelli pipes exceed what is strongly regarded as the epitome of the pipe world and they don't demand the same price tag (No names mentioned as we are British through and through)
Savinelli Churchwarden Brownblast Briar Pipes: There aren’t anywhere near enough Churchwarden pipes on the market to satisfy desire so when we came across Savinellis offerings we snapped them up without a moment's hesitation. They are classically styled Churchwarden pipes made using the same quality Briar that we have come to know and love from the italian master craftsmen. One really nice feature we like and haven’t seen before on a churchwarden is the flat bottom. This enables the pipe to be balanced upright. Please note the word “balanced” due to the length of the stem they will fall over fairly easily if knocked. The Brownblast range has a stunning and very neat rustication on the bowl which to the untrained eye could appear sandblasted due to its intricate detail and was obviously intentional by the name “brownblast”. A very labour intensive but stunning effect finished with a rich Brown stain with a lighter brown on the raised areas for a really beautiful pipe. A true testament to the Italian team's eye for style.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a generic image that we have taken from a random selection of this pipe model from our stocks. It is unlikely to be the exact pipe you will receive. Due to the nature of the raw material used and this being a handmade product there will be some variation in grain, colour and finish. There could also be a slight variation in the dimensions provided.
