Peterson Tyrone Peterson are well know for taking inspiration from their Irish home. From places and landscapes, colours, weather and history. The Tyrone range, first introduced in the 1990's, takes its name from the traditional county of Tyrone which consists of the flat peatlands to the East rising gradually to the beautiful mountainous west region. The Tyrone have been finished in a rich dark smoky chocolate stain which makes for a beautifully refined looking pipe which is topped off with a black acrylic mouthpiece with a gold P stamp and double brass ring.
Peterson Tyrone XL02 The Peterson Tyrone XL02 is a large full bent briar with a generously sized, apple shaped bowl. The XL02 Straight has a thick wall, with a deep bowl and large bore. The Apple shape is one of the most popular bowl shapes as the shape is more comfortable in the hand. The deep bowl makes for a versatile pipe as the fill can be varied for a short satisfying smoke or a long intense fireside session.
Fishtail mouthpiece: Peterson’s trademark patented mouthpiece is the p.lip design, which has many advantages but unfortunately some smokers just don't get on with it. The Donegal series comes with the fishtail mouthpiece as an alternative for those who don't get on with the P.Lip.
