Peterson Tyrone Peterson are well know for taking inspiration from their Irish home. From places and landscapes, colours, weather and history. The Tyrone range, first introduced in the 1990's, takes its name from the traditional county of Tyrone which consists of the flat peatlands to the East rising gradually to the beautiful mountainous west region. The Tyrone have been finished in a rich dark smoky chocolate stain which makes for a beautifully refined looking pipe which is topped off with a black acrylic mouthpiece with a gold P stamp and double brass ring.
Peterson Tyrone 03 The Peterson Tyrone 03 is a full bent briar with a medium sized, apple shaped bowl. The 03 is very popular mainly due to the comfortable shape and its manageable size. The 03 has a slightly thicker wall towards the base, which helps prevent the pipe overheating.
Fishtail mouthpiece: Peterson’s trademark patented mouthpiece is the p.lip design, which has many advantages but unfortunately some smokers just don't get on with it. The Donegal series comes with the fishtail mouthpiece as an alternative for those who don't get on with the P.Lip.
