Peterson Classic Slimline: The Peterson Classic Slimline are simply stunning! A smooth Red Briar fitted with a contrasting marbled Amber stem and finished with a hallmarked sterling silver band and silver P on the stem. As the name suggests Peterson took some of the classic shapes and added a longer stem to make them into reading pipes. They fill the gap nicely between a standard pipe and a churchwarden. So you get a cool smoking pipe without the full eccentricity of a churchwarden. This also makes them more portable.
Peterson Classic Slimline 65: The Peterson Classic Slimline 65 is an exaggerated full bent briar pipe with a classic billiard shaped bowl. You don't see many pipes with a hang like the 65 has got. If you like a pipe that hangs like ........... erm well (we'll let your imagination finish that one) then this is the pipe for you. A long stem with such an acute angle in the stem makes for a very cool, smooth and dry smoke and they definitely haven't sacrificed on aesthetics to achieve this. Truly stunning and likely to be the best smoke out of the classic range.
Fishtail mouthpiece: The Peterson Classic Slimline are fitted with the fishtail mouthpiece, which is the standard mouthpiece for most pipe manufacturers. The fishtail has the exit hole in the end of the mouthpiece. The end of the mouthpiece is flat, which some people find easier to grip, and suits the smoker who doesn't get on with the p.lip style.
MARBLED STEMS: The marbled mouthpiece in this picture is a one off and is unlikely to be the exact mouthpiece you will receive. There is variation from pipe to pipe with substantial differences in colours, patterns and marbling.
