Peterson Ashford Range Peterson are well know for taking inspiration from their Irish home. From places and landscapes, colours, weather and history. The Ashford range, first introduced in 2013, takes its name from Ashford castle which is a 13th century castle near the coast of Galway. In a similar finish to the Harp collection the Ashford have been finished in a deep chocolate stain which makes for a beautifully dark and refined looking pipe which is topped off with a Sterling Silver band and army mounted dark cumberland stem which frankly looks stunning.
Peterson Ashford XL11 The Peterson XL11 is a bent briar with a large sized, Dublin shaped bowl. It has a thick wall, with a fairly deep bowl and large bore. The Dublin shape is one of the most recognisable classic bowl shapes and sits very nicely in the hand. The deep bowl makes for a versatile pipe as the fill can be varied for a short satisfying smoke or a long intense fireside session.
Fishtail mouthpiece: Peterson’s trademark patented mouthpiece is the p.lip design, which has many advantages but unfortunately some smokers just don't get on with it. The Ashford series comes with the fishtail mouthpiece as an alternative for those who don't get on with the P.Lip.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a generic image that we have taken from a random selection of this pipe model from our stocks. It is unlikely to be the exact pipe you will receive. Due to the nature of the raw material used and this being a handmade product there will be some variation in grain, colour and finish. There could also be a slight variation in the dimensions provided.
