Peterson Aran Peterson are well know for taking inspiration from their Irish home. From places and landscapes, colours, weather and history. The Aran range, first introduced in the 1970's, takes its name from the Aran Islands which are a group of 3 limestone islands located at the mouth of Galway Bay on the west coast of Ireland. The Aran have been finished in a light chocolate stain which makes for a beautifully refined looking pipe which is topped off with a black acrylic mouthpiece with a gold P stamp
Peterson Aran 106 The Peterson Aran 106 is a straight briar with a mid sized, slightly tapered, billiard shaped bowl. It has a thick wall, with a fairly deep bowl and average bore. The Billiard shape is one of the most popular bowl shapes as the shape is more comfortable in the hand. The deep bowl makes for a versatile pipe as the fill can be varied for a short satisfying smoke or a long intense fireside session.
Fishtail mouthpiece: Peterson’s trademark patented mouthpiece is the p.lip design, which has many advantages but unfortunately some smokers just don't get on with it. The Donegal series comes with the fishtail mouthpiece as an alternative for those who don't get on with the P.Lip.
