J.C. Newman Julius Caeser Newman immigrated to the United States in 1889 and lived the American dream. In 1895, he founded the J.C. In 1954, the company moved to Tampa's Ybor City cigar district to be closer to Cuba. To this day the J.C. Newman Cigar Company manufactures and distributes premium cigars to the world market with some of the most famous new world brands under it's belt.
Perla del Mar Corojo Toro Perla del Mar, which translates to “Pearl of the Sea,” are a resurrected old Cuban brand that has become a new addition to the famed J.C. Newman portfolio of fine handmade premium cigars. These triple-capped box-pressed cigars feature special, hand-selected, aged binder and long filler tobaccos from four distinct regions in the lush mountains of Nicaragua : La Reina, Pueblo Nuevo, Jalapa and Condega. This unique blend is combined with a Ecuadorian Corojo wrapper to provide a rich, complex but balanced taste. Early bursts of spiciness make way for dark roasted coffee, stoned fruit and a woody citrus finish.
