Peterson Pipe of the Year 2014 Well what can we say the Peterson pipe of the year 2014 is set to be the most popular yet. We've had many requests for a classic straight so we don't reckon these will be around for long. The 2014 is a classic straight Billiard of larger proportions than we often see on the Pipe of the year. It's got good thick walls and a nice tall bowl with large bore for those who like a good fill, the pipe is finished with a system style tapered fishtail stem fitted into a Sterling Silver hallmarked mount.
Often Petersons pipe of the year can be a little obscure, which puts some collectors off but intrigues the collectors out there. For 2012 and 2013 they have made a pipe for the traditionalist smokers out there. Odd's on the restraint will break for 2014 and we would expect something much more obscure to jump out of the box. If you are a lover of classical shapes it may be your last chance for a couple of years.
Fishtail mouthpiece: Petersons trademark patented mouthpiece is the p.lip design, which has many advantages but unfortunately some smokers just don't get on with it. The Pipe of the year 2014 comes with the fishtail mouthpiece as an alternative for those who don't get on with the P.Lip.
