Chacom Pipes (St Claude) Chacom is a family owned company who can trace their pipe making heritage to 1825 before Briar was even discovered. They are based in St Claude which is widely recognised as the pipe making capital of the world. They are one of very few pipe manufacturers who make pipes from start to finish. From ageing the Briar right through to hand finishing.
Chacom Selected Straight Grain Pipes Every now and then the pipe graders come across an exceptional block of Briar and feel that it should be made into something much more special than the general range that makes up 95% of their production. The Selected Straight Grain 021 is a stunning example picked out of the grading pile which has been given an unusual two tone finish. The pipe is split down the centre with half sandblasted to show off the stunning ring grain and half has been finished smooth to show off the flame grain. The pipe is finished with a a hand cut stem inlaid with a solid nickel chacom logo.
