Chacom Pipe Tobacco: Chacom hails from the French capital of pipe making Saint-Claude and is steeped in a long and interesting history. Launched just after the end of the Second World War by Henri Comoy they soon became one of the worlds most well known and well-loved brands, with a focus on traditional manufacturing techniques handed down over the decades.
Chacom No.4 Pipe Tobacco: The Chacom No.4 is a non-aromatic blend that is made from different grades of light and dark Virginias that have been topped off with a small portion of Perique to reinforce the strength, which also has the benefit of enriching the blend with a natural fruity spice favoured by many. After it has been blended the plug is allowed to ferment for 4 weeks under cold pressing to allow the flavours to develop and merge into what is a wonderfully balanced tobacco.
Flake Cut Pipe Tobacco: The Chacom No.4 Tobacco is a flake cut tobacco blend. Flake tobacco usually requires rubbing (breaking up) before it can be smoked. The tobacco can be rubbed to the smokers preference depending on whether they prefer a slow or fast burn rate.
