Casa Magna Cigars: In 2008, Manuel Quesada and Nicaraguas largest tobacco grower Nestor Plasencia joined forces and created Casa Magna in Plasencia's famous Segovia factory. The Casa Magna Colorado would go on to receive an outstanding reception including winning Cigar of the Year in 2008. They then proceeded to built on that success with more lines with each a slightly tweaked version of the last.
Casa Magna Colorado The cigar that started it all. Taking a bold base of Cuban-seed Nicaraguan grown tobaccos from two very different areas. Tobacco from the Esteli region gives strong robust flavours while the Jalapa grown seed gives a more elegantly balanced flavour. This expertly blended cigars are bursting with rich coffee, spice and earthy flavours with underlying cinnamon toast notes.
Loose Cigars: The Casa Magna Cigars leave the factory packaged loose in a Cedar lined box. This helps the cigars to develop and flavours to diffuse. They are stored in our climate controlled humidor until dispatch and ideally should be transferred directly into a humidor. If you are buying them for a special occasion they should keep for up to a week in a cool, dark place.
Hand Rolled: The tradition of being rolled on a maiden's thigh can be questioned but the added quality a cigar beholds from being hand-rolled by an experienced Cigar Roller cannot. Each cigar is rolled to the same density with full-length filler (leaves), providing the perfect draw and ash build-up, which cannot be matched by a machine.
Preparation: Please note the Casa Magna cigars require cutting or punching before they can be enjoyed.
