A Single Loose Hand Rolled Honduran Cigar
Alec Bradley: First Established in Florida in 1996, Alec Bradley is the brainchild of Alan Rubin, the son of a hardware importer, who transferred his knowledge and passion of Cigars into his new venture with the help of Ralph Montero and Henke Kelner who was a cigar maker for Alfred Dunhill. Named after his 2 children, Alec Bradley has become a well known name in the cigar world and now produces between 2 and 3 million cigars each year.
2022 Filthy Hooligan Shamrock Once again the Alec Bradley Filthy Hooligan range has been joined in 2022 by the Filthy Hooligan Shamrock. A Toro cigar rolled at Plasencia's factory in Honduras. What sets the Shamrock apart from other barber pole cigars is that it is covered in not one, not two, but three different wrapper leaves - a Candela, a Habano Maduro and a Habana Seco which have all been grown in Honduras. However, Alec Bradley are keeping the binder and filler details a closely guarded secret.
Loose Cigars: The Alec Bradley Filthy Hooligan Shamrock leave the factory packaged loose in a Cedar lined box. This helps the cigars to develop and flavours to diffuse. They are stored in our humidors until dispatch and ideally should be transferred directly into a humidor. If you are buying them for a special occasion they should keep for up to a week in a cool, dark place.
Hand Rolled: The tradition of being rolled on a maiden's thigh can be questioned but the added quality a cigar beholds from being hand-rolled by an experienced Cigar Roller cannot. Each cigar is rolled to the same density with full-length filler (leaves), providing the perfect draw and ash build-up, which cannot be matched by a machine.
Preparation: Please note the Alec Bradley cigars require cutting or punching before they can be enjoyed.
