We’ve stocked a fair few cigars in our time, but PDR Cigars have earned their spot on the shelf through sheer consistency and quiet quality. These aren’t your loud, look-at-me smokes—they’re refined, balanced, and made with a level of care that shows in every draw.
The name stands for Pinar del Rio, a nod to the famous Cuban growing region, though the cigars themselves come from the Dominican Republic—specifically from the PDR factory in Tamboril, where master blender Abe Flores has built a reputation for doing things the right way, not the fast way.
Expect well-aged tobaccos from places like the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, Brazil, and Ecuador, all rolled using the traditional entubado technique. The result? A smooth, even burn and a flavour that builds gently rather than bowling you over. Whether it’s the 1878 series, a Capa Maduro, or one of their small-batch releases, there’s a quiet confidence to every PDR cigar.
