The new MT pipe knife is about as good as it gets. We have compared the quality next to the market leader and cannot fault it. The blade feels sharp and in general feels sturdy and well made.
It is not sheffield steel but we reckon its as close as you'll get without the price tag and has a the rounded tip to prevent damage to the base of the bowl. We are sure you will be trimming your favourite Twist or Plug tobacco and reaming your pipe with this tool for many years. As long as you dont loose it that is!
There is also a tamper built into the end of the knife to save that vital index finger and a handy spike, which is an essential tool for clearing those frustrating pipe blockages.
